Gordon Oatman

Undergraduate Student

Gordon Oatman is a second-year undergraduate student from Summit, New Jersey, majoring in Biological Sciences with a minor in Compassionate Care in Medicine and Theology. He joined the Patzke lab in the Spring of 2025 and is now researching the function of the coxsackie adenovirus receptor (CAR) protein and its role in neurological disorders such as Down Syndrome. Gordon hopes to pursue medical school after the completion of his undergraduate degree.
