Jerry Igweh

Jerry Igweh is a first-year undergraduate student at the University of Notre Dame, originally from Little Rock, Arkansas. He is majoring in Neuroscience and Behavior with a minor in Humanities and Society on the pre-med track. He joined the Patzke Lab in November of 2024 and is currently researching Fragile X syndrome, focusing on the regulatory role of the endocannabinoid system and its effect on Excitatory PostSynaptic Potentials (EPSPs) using electrophysiology and imaging techniques. He hopes to pursue a career in medicine with a focus on global health.
