Jihaeng Lee

Jihaeng Lee graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of Minnesota in 2021. Her primary research centers on exploring the neurophysiology and development of Niemann-Pick Type C disease, arising from genetic mutations within the NPC1 or NPC2 gene. Her investigations span various cell culture systems, encompassing the reprogramming of fibroblasts to the human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) and the creation of primary mouse neurons.
