Luis Longorio

Luis Longorio is a junior undergraduate student from Rio Rico, Arizona. Luis is currently studying Neuroscience and Behavior with a minor in Foundations of Business. He joined the Patzke Lab in the Fall of 2023 and is currently assisting undergraduate student Seungyeon Nam in studying the function of the coxsackie adenovirus receptor (CAR) protein and its potential relationship to neurological disorders, specifically Down Syndrome. Luis hopes to pursue an MD degree or potentially graduate school following the completion of his undergraduate program.
